Skipping will improve fitness, balance, coordination and body conditioning and endurance. It also increases muscle strength, flexibility, and improves cardiovascular fitness,  timing and rhythm.

Overall, it’s an excellent way to keep fit and very fun to do with other children. Try to coordinate skipping with rhymes, and get longer ropes to skip and jump with more people – the more the merrier!
